Prior to taking a position with AFIT, Dr. Reeder served as an NRC Research Associate at NASA Glenn and subsequently as the manager of R&D for a manufacturer of industrial mixing equipment. Dr. Reeder’s research interests include all aspects of experimental fluid mechanics with an emphasis on applications involving wind tunnel testing, mixing enhancement for combustion, and micro air vehicles. He has co-authored articles published in a variety of journals including the Journal of Fluid Mechanics, Experiments in Fluids, The AIAA Journal of Aircraft, The AIAA Journal of Propulsion and Power, The AIAA Journal of Spacecraft and Rockets, Physics of Fluids, NASA Tech Briefs, and Chemical Engineering Progress. He has four patents to his credit, is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio, and is a member of AIAA and ASME.
